2026 Horse Of Race Age Sale
This spring at Keeneland’s Horses of Racing Age Sale, Wadhams Thoroughbred Racing will target a racing-age 2-year- Thoroughbred athlete selected specifically for elite pedigree and long term durability.
The horse will be chosen based on a strict set of criteria emphasizing:
Proven sire lines known for producing sound, consistent runners
Strong female family with black-type or black-type producing depth
Physical Conformation suited for sustained racing performance
Genetic profiles associated with stamina, resilience, & competitive longevity
Eligible for restricted & incentive-based racing programs to enhance purse potential
Our objective is to identify a horse whose pedigree reflects both class and durability, increasing the probability of a productive racing career while maximizing opportunities through favorable race conditions & incentive structures.
By targeting a racing-age 2-year-old, we reduce early developmental risk and accelerate the path to the racetrack. The breaking process is complete, major early hurdles have been cleared, and our partners can enter ownership at the moment the horse is transitioning from training to competition.
Trainer: Our horse will be trained by Jeremiah Englehart, a premier NYRA conditioner with 1,800+ wins and $50M+ in career earnings, known for developing young horses and placing them intelligently.
We will campaign primarily at Saratoga, Belmont, and Finger Lakes, offering partners elite racing, premium access, and a transparent, data-driven ownership experience.
Limited partnership shares available: 5% and 2.5%.
