Inside the Silks

Built for fans, professionals, business owners, and entrepreneurs who want the excitement, access, and culture surrounding racehorse ownership without the financial risk, ongoing expenses, or long-term commitments of owning a horse.

Members receive access with designated WTR horses, including barn access, paddock access, horsemen’s lounge access when available, winner’s circle access when applicable, and behind-the-scenes race day experiences.

Members receive workout videos, professional photos, stable updates, race strategy insights, race day media, behind-the-scenes coverage, and member-only stable content throughout the season.

Through WTR’s media partnerships, members receive access to exclusive workout photos, training videos, race day content, paddock coverage, and behind-the-scenes footage.

Private networking events may include bourbon and cigar nights, wine tastings, cocktail receptions, dinners, holiday gatherings, major stakes race parties, Derby events, golf outings, sporting events, and other WTR networking experiences. Some events are complimentary, while others may require a separate ticket or reservation.

Members may be featured through the WTR Business Spotlight section of our newsletter, showcasing their company, profession, or organization to fellow members and the Wadhams Thoroughbred Racing audience. Spotlights may also include member profiles, website and social media recognition, introductions at networking events, and opportunities to promote products or services to the Inside the Silks community.

No. Inside the Silks is a membership experience only. Members do not receive ownership interest, equity, purse earnings, breeding rights, or proceeds from the sale of any horse.

As not to infringe on the experience of licensed owners. Membership experiences are centered around designated WTR horses selected specifically for the Inside the Silks program. Our current Inside the Silks roster is Kat Stormy, our turf filly.

Inside the Silks is designed to keep members connected to the stable year-round. Because members are not licensed owners, non-race-day visits are coordinated through WTR. Members may also arrange additional visits with licensed WTR owners when available, subject to racetrack rules, horse availability, and stable operations.

Designated horses may participate in approximately 8–10 race days annually per horse if healthy, sound, and actively racing. Actual race schedules vary. There is a 5 day advanced notice of a race entry.

Members can join race day experiences with designated WTR horses throughout the racing season. These experiences may include barn access in the morning on race day, paddock access moments before the race, horsemen’s lounge access when available throughout the race day, and winner’s circle access when applicable. Opportunities depend on each horse’s racing schedule, health, campaign, racetrack policies, and operational considerations.

No. All memberships are final sale and non-refundable after purchase. Memberships are non-transferable and remain active through the annual term.

Yes. Members may receive early notice of future WTR ownership opportunities, subject to availability.
